Winnebago Landfill Company accepted its first deliveries of solid
waste at Pagel's Landfill about 33 years ago. Last year, Pagel's
was renamed the Winnebago Landfill and Recycling facility to
reflect the operations performed at the site. Many
communities were, or still are, in a state of crisis as they
face landfills at capacity or have no long-range plans for the
management of their solid waste. As members of SWANA and NSWMA, our company and our
region should take pride in the fact that we have responsibly
dealt with solid waste disposal and its management, and we will
continue to do so for a long time to come.
